Instructor's Dashboard

The Eli Dashboard serves as the portal page to all other areas within Eli.  Until you’ve created a course for yourself, Eli will think you are a student and take you to the “Eli for Students” dashboard.  If you click the “Eli for Teachers” tab you will see the Instructor dashboard.

Eli requires anyone who wants to instruct a course to have a validated email address so that it’s easier to recover your password should you lost it.  You can validate your address in the Account Settings manager.  Once you’ve validated your address, all of the warning messages will disappear and you’ll be ready to get started.

Once you’ve validated your email address you can begin using Eli as an instructor.  Simply click the “Create a Course” button and you’ll be walked through the steps necessary to get each of your courses set up in Eli.  From here, you’ll also be able to access all of your active and inactive courses.
